Bilingual Inside Sales

Location: Montreal, Quebec │ Salary Range: 60k-80k│ Hybrid/Remote│ Full-time permanent


Summary of Responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves managing client relationships, providing technical proposals, and ensuring a seamless sales experience while contributing to business growth. The position combines sales expertise, technical knowledge, and customer service to deliver tailored solutions and foster long-term client relationships.


Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Customer Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary contact for clients, offering technical support and guidance.

  • Respond promptly to inquiries and assist clients in selecting appropriate solutions.

  • Occasionally visit clients on-site or represent the company at marketing events.

Sales and Business Development

  • Identify and qualify sales opportunities through inbound and outbound communications.

  • Understand client needs and recommend suitable solutions.

  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and collaborate with outside sales teams.

Quoting and Order Management

  • Generate accurate and timely quotes and proposals.

  • Process customer orders and coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery.

  • Address and resolve any order-related discrepancies.

Technical Expertise

  • Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge.

  • Provide detailed technical information on products, pricing, and lead times.


Education and Experience Requirements:

  • College diploma in Sales, Marketing, or Commerce.

  • A background in Instrumentation, Electronics, or related scientific fields is an advantage.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical) or equivalent experience is a plus.

  • 2-5 years of sales experience in a B2B environment, preferably in technical fields like industrial instrumentation.


Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong sales and customer service abilities.

  • Technical knowledge of industrial processes is a bonus.

  • Excellent communication skills in English and French (written and verbal).

  • Ability to translate technical information into clear, customer-friendly language.
