 Responsibilities:

• Oversee Final Engineering functions for all current projects
• Check all outgoing drawings, RFQ’s, specifications, and other documents generated by engineers in the department
• Assist in vendor selection and evaluation
• Coordinate engineering schedules for all current projects
• Assist with the assignment of project engineers to specific projects
• Responsible for cleanliness of department work space
• Participate in engineering solutions for all current projects
• Update supervisor on regular basis on the engineering status of all current projects
• Complete assigned projects in a timely manner
• Read all project related materials needed for assignment
• Comply with throughput requirements
• Generate system calculations
• Create CAD drawings
• Establish possible alternatives for design
• Maintain and update project folders
• Transfer your knowledge to others in the company
• Educate yourself on new technologies
• Attend meetings and write meeting minutes
• Use transmittals for all correspondence and comply with filing rules
• Comply with codes and safety rules (OSHA)
• Process and tracking
• Support other departments
• Keep time records of yourself
• Other duties assigned by management

 Requirements:

• Solid computer skills in Mac and Windows environment
• Extensive knowledge of AutoCAD, VectorWorks
• Work in a team environment
• Excellent organization skills, and the ability to prioritize
• Ability to multi-task
• Work additional hours based upon business needs
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Occasional travel as required
• Ability to interface with other departments
• Demonstrated ability to handle high pressure situations
